Croton On Hudson Emergency Medical Services Croton-on-Hudson Emergency Medical Services provides ambulance service to the Village of Croton

Croton-on-Hudson Emergency Medical Services is a volunteer organization, assisted by Paid Staffing. That means that although there is always one paid EMT/Driver on duty 24/7, they require a volunteer EMT or Driver to complete a crew. Much of the time, the Paid staff does not need to crew the ambulance, due to the presence to of a volunteer EMT and Driver.

Take another look at our new building!

Our new headquarters was built largely by Croton DPW employees, represented by Teamsters Local 456, with heavy equipment support from Operating Engineers Local 137. Thank you for giving Croton EMS a new home!

Today we also recognize the broader organized labor that keeps our village running. Many of our own Croton EMS members carry union memberships from their professions in Croton and beyond. We see you and thank you!

Happy Labor Day, Croton!

In the month of August, Croton EMS responded to 83 calls for service. The month was actually a breath of fresh air for our agency, as the three preceding months of May, June, and July all had call volumes of over 100 each.

As the summer winds down, we want to reaffirm our gratitude to our members as well as our partner agencies Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department, Croton Police Department, and Ossining Volunteer Ambulance Corps for their dedicated service to the residents of Croton-on-Hudson.

If you are interested in learning more about what we do, send us a message at [email protected]. We are always seeking dedicated volunteers looking to give back to our community.

We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!

Today Croton EMS was able to join the rest of our community and participate in the Summerfest Parade. Volunteers marched with the Local 21 Pipes and Drums leading us down the street! During the event Croton EMS handled 1 call for service prior to the parade and another during the event which was an RMA. Overall a successful day!
