During the last 24 hours Crothersville-Vernon Township Fire has responded to a working house fire, a large excavator fire and a vehicle fire. US31 will have delays North of Uniontown due to a vehicle fire.

I65 NB at the 41 mile marker is slowed down to one lane due to a multi-vehicle accident. This is just North of the Uniontown exit. I65 will be down to one lane for a period of time this morning. Use caution when approaching this area.

🚒🚒 Information Alert 🚒🚒
This morning there will be multiple emergency vehicles at the school for a mock accident for prom. There is no emergency at this time.

Since 5 pm on April 27th, CVFD has responded to 15 calls for service, including trees down, water rescues, and a structure fire.

A few notes from these incidents:

Structure fire- at approximately 1:30am, CVFD responded to a working structure fire on on CR 125 S. Upon E30's arrival, the structure was found to be fully involved. E30's crew immediately began fire attack. Thank you to Redding Twp Volunteer Fire Department, Jackson-Washington Volunteer Fire Department, and The Jackson County Sheriff's Department for their assistance with this incident. All units returned to service at approximately 4am.

Water rescues-
As always, if there is water on the roadway, do not attempt to pass! You do not know what has happened under or how deep the water is. Turn around, Don't Drown!
