Today, SMCA awarded Paramedic, Christopher Brown & EMT, Amanda Aldridge from Croswell EMS with Paramedic and EMT of the year award plaques. SMCA recognized them as key providers to a nonambulatory patient that was trapped inside a structure that was on fire. Their teamwork with the fire personnel on scene that day ultimately led to this patient surviving the fire. Please help us in congratulating Chris and Amanda on a job well done!

Cell Phone service is currently experiencing outages across the country, including AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.

This may cause problems if you need to call 911. Please still attempt on your own phone, but if you cannot get through and you have access to a landline or another person with a different service provider, try to use those.

If your cell phone supports it, WiFi calling is an option as well if you have access to WiFI.

On Wednesday Jan 17th the EMT’s and Paramedics from Croswell EMS were invited to the Windjammer for “Soup for a Cause”. Richard and his crew at the Windjammer arranged some delicious soups and dinners to help raise funding for Croswell EMS.

This event was co-sponsored by the Dickinson Allstate Insurance Agency of Lexington.

With the sponsorship donation, soup and dinner sales along with cash donations, Croswell EMS received a total of $1452 that will go towards life-saving equipment. Every bit of this funding will go back to the community to save lives.

Croswell EMS serves the City of Croswell, Village of Lexington and the townships of Worth, Lexington, Fremont and Buel. We would like to thank everyone who made this possible and everyone who participated in this event.

Soup for a cause will be held again Jan 24th to benefit the Lexington Fire Dept.

Thank you to everyone in our community for your support!
