BURGLARY/THEFT INVESTIGATION – PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of collectible sports cards and tools from an outbuilding on Gordon Road in Cumberland County.
Investigators believe the theft occurred sometime between the evening hours of Tuesday, April 21, 2026, and Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
Stolen property includes:
• 1958 and 1959 Mickey Mantle baseball cards
• Three 1968 Nolan Ryan rookie cards
• Sports cards stored in protective card cases
• Two Milwaukee drills
• Two Milwaukee tool bags
The stolen property is valued at approximately $11,500. Some of the Milwaukee tools were marked with the initials “CS” near the battery area.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to report:
• Anyone attempting to sell vintage sports cards matching these descriptions
• Suspicious online sales involving collectible sports cards or Milwaukee tools
• Anyone in possession of Milwaukee tools marked with the initials “CS”
• Any suspicious activity observed on or near Gordon Road during the time frame of the theft

BURGLARY INVESTIGATION – PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that occurred at Pro Electric located at 3076 Highway 127 South in Crossville.
Between Friday, April 10, 2026, and Monday, April 13, 2026, unknown subjects forced entry into the business and stole approximately $20,000 worth of tools and construction equipment.
Items stolen include numerous Milwaukee, DeWalt, Hilti, Greenlee, Porter Cable, and other contractor-grade tools. Many of the items may be marked with “PRO ELECTRIC” or “PRO.”
The Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to report:
• Anyone suddenly selling large amounts of contractor tools
• Suspicious Facebook Marketplace or online sales
• Information about trailers or vehicles seen near the business during the weekend of April 10–13
• Anyone attempting to sell tools marked “PRO ELECTRIC” or “PRO”

Over the past few days several vehicles in theLake Tansi community have sustained damage to tires caused by tire spikes. These devices have been deliberately thrown out with the intent to damage tires. STUDENT CHARGED WITH THREATS MADE AGAINST SCHOOL
Crossville, TN – A student at Stone Memorial High School will be charged with making a threat of mass violence following alarming statements made to students on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Several students reported to a teacher that a student made a statement threatening mass violence.
The District Threat Response Team consisting of school officials, members of the Crossville Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, and Office of Homeland Security responded to assist in the investigation. The School Threat Assessment Team did a great job containing the situation and obtaining valuable information for the investigation. No weapons were found and no students were ever in any danger.
As a result of the prompt actions taken by school officials and law enforcement, the school was able to continue operations without interruption, avoiding the need for any type of lockdown. The juvenile suspect will be charged under T.C.A. 39-16-517 for making a Threat of Mass Violence on School Property.
The community, students and staff are encouraged to report any suspicious or potentially threatening behavior related to schools or public buildings. We are committed to investigating every threat received to ensure the safety of our schools and all citizens.
