Become a Campground Host at our Cumberland Mountain SP
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable volunteer who enjoys connecting with people and helping create memorable experiences for park visitors.
As a Campground Host, you’ll be a welcoming, visible representative of the park while supporting campground hospitality, maintenance, recreation, and daily park operations.
Duties may include:
• Welcoming campers and providing orientation & information
• Assisting with light maintenance and identifying potential hazards
• Supporting park programs and recreational activities
• Reporting inappropriate activities or maintenance concerns
• Providing friendly, helpful hospitality to campers and visitors
The commitment:
• Volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Serve for no more than 9 consecutive months
• Must pass a background check
• Bring a positive attitude, love of the outdoors, and a willingness to help
