🔥🚒Firefighter Friday🧑🏼‍🚒🔥

We would like to introduce Volunteer Firefighter Dalton Towe. He joined the Fire Service and Crossnore Volunteer Fire Department in January 2026. He has hit the ground running. He has already completed trainings including Rescue Operations, Mayday, and CPR/AED.
He is currently employed as the Wellness Programs Coordinator at Mitchell County YMCA. He is also a Personal Trainer at Elk River. He says he joined the Fire Service because he wanted to find a way to give back to the community and be part of something bigger than himself. He is motivated to be a Firefighter because he is grateful for the opportunity to learn from the those who serve beside him. He enjoys strength training, hiking, being outdoors, and golf.
Dalton, thank you for your service and sacrifice for North Carolina, Avery County, and the Fire District of Crossnore.🫡
