This week's CoW is Ace! Ace earned the recognition from the sheer number of times I said "Thank goodness we have Ace" to myself when I was putting together the schedule for the next couple of weeks. Ace is a great counselor in general, but he's especially great working one to one with campers who need extra support. He helps them have a successful day at camp and they love hanging out with him. Ace is also one of our lead counselors - basically, wherever we need someone, Ace is willing to bring his experience and enthusiasm.

A side note - I had to use Ace's staff photo because every other photo I have of him is an action shot of him playing with the kids and it's hard to see his face!

We’re excited to highlight this week’s Cross Plains Pool Staff Member of the Week: Adam Bernd

Adam serves as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at the Cross Plains Pool. Since we officially started our regular hours of operation, he has been an Ironman logging a lot of hours. As a new guard, he has adapted well in his duties promoting safety and teaching children in the community how to improve their swimming skills. His maturity and willingness to work have been a great help to the season thus far.

If you see Adam poolside, be sure to tell him to keep up the great work!

Hello Everyone,

Looking at the rain forecast and cooler air temperatures today, we have decided to cancel all swim lessons and junior lifeguarding for today, June 17th.

With that in mind, please remember that our swim lessons policy allows for one make-up day. That make-up date will be Friday, June 26th at our regularly scheduled times.

With the cancelation of Junior Lifeguarding, we will be making up today's class on Friday, June 19th from 12:30-1:30PM.

We will also be closed for Open Swim today.

Very excited about the progress on our Tennis Court today!!We hope to have Singles and Doubles for Open Play very soon!!

The Cross Plains Pool will be closed for 7:00-8:30PM Open Swim tonight, June 16th.

We will STILL be holding evening Lap Swim/ Water Aerobics & Swim Lessons.
