Our internet is currently down so if you’ve been calling our office this includes our phones. We aren’t able to do state birth certificates or marriage licenses right now.

Governor Greg Abbott issued a proclamation announcing a Special Election to be held Saturday January 23, 2021, to fill the Texas House of Representatives District 68 seat vacated by Drew Springer.

Early Voting for this election starts tomorrow January 11, 2021 and will only be one week and one day being January 19, 2021.

Due to such short notice we won’t have much time for mail out ballots. If you’d like a mail out ballot you’ll have to call and request one by Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

People, please understand that preparing for this or any election is not an easy job. We will have unforeseen problems with equipment, that's just to be expected. The ladies working elections are very brave coming out to work during Covid. We should be very thankful we have someone willing to do this. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not make their job harder by being rude and disrespectful! Remember, everyone had 3 weeks to early vote before today. Just please remember to be polite to your election workers.

IF YOU HAVE REQUESTED A MAIL IN BALLOT AND HAVE NOT RETURNED IT YET YOU NEED TO RETURN IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! IF YOU PLAN TO BRING IT IN INSTEAD OF MAILING IT, THAT IS ADMISSABLE THIS YEAR. WE WILL HAVE TO HAVE IT BY 5:00 NOVEMBER 3. BUT, YOU MUST BRING IT IN IN PERSON AND YOU MUST HAVE YOUR IDENTIFICATION WITH IT!!!
