Don't forget about our huge used book sale this weekend! 📖 These lovely books are just dying for someone to take them home, so stop by and make their day! The sale is this weekend, Thursday to Saturday, during our open hours. We'll be set up in the front room of the library. Books are sold by donation, and all support is appreciated!

On Thursday, some of our librarians and JFHML Friends had the opportunity to attend Wine and Words, put on by Brainerd Public Library! They tasted wine, listened to author talks, and participated in the raffles. Julia and Joan also won in the silent auction! Thank you to the Brainerd Library for putting on such a wonderful event!

We are excited to share that JFHML has been awarded a $10,000 Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities grant from the American Library Association!

This grant will help us strengthen accessibility and expand opportunities for community engagement, ensuring our library continues to be a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone. Through this initiative, we'll be working with our community to better understand and address the needs of people with disabilities while creating meaningful improvements that benefit all.

We're honored to be selected for this opportunity and look forward to sharing updates as this project takes shape.
