Remember March is the LAST month you will be able to pay or mail your bill to North Valley Bank.
Starting April 1st, 2026 you can pay your bill in person at any People’s State Bank or at our office located at 2075 State Route 13.

We have been notified of someone hitting a waterline. Our crew is on their way to repair the leak. In the meantime customers on Bohemian Road,Township Road 215-A, and Township Road 390 may be out of water or experience low water pressure. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will get service back to normal as soon as possible.

To Southern Perry County Water District customers….over the next several months we will be doing a complete meter change out in all of our systems. We are doing this ourselves so it will take some time before all customers have a new meter. Some change outs will take longer than others so service interruption may last a few minutes to a little longer depending on whether the pit will need to be changed out. ⚠️With the incoming weather, and temps falling below 0 at some points here are winter weath tips to help out ⚠️

Prevent Frozen Pipes: Let faucets drip slightly during extreme cold and open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate.

Safe Heating: Never use stoves, ovens, or grills to heat your home due to carbon monoxide risks. Keep space heaters at least 3 feet from furniture or curtains.
Maximize Heat: Run ceiling fans clockwise on low speed to push warm air down. Keep curtains closed at night to insulate, and open them during the day for solar heat.

Maintenance: Ensure your furnace is serviced annually.
Outdoor & Travel Safety
Dress in Layers: Use thermal base layers, insulating middle layers (fleece/wool), and waterproof outer layers. Cover head, neck, and hands.
Vehicle Kit: Keep a blanket, flashlight, shovel, ice scraper, phone charger, and kitty litter/sand for traction in your car.

Driving: Keep your gas tank at least half-full. If stuck, stay in your car for warmth.
Walking: Use salt or sand on walkways to prevent slips.
Health & Preparedness

Spot Hypothermia: Watch for shivering, memory lapses, slurred speech, and drowsiness.
Protect Pets: Bring pets inside during extreme cold.
Prepare for Outages: Keep flashlights, extra blankets, and non-perishable food on hand.

Southern Perry Water District is repairing a leak on Millertown Road. Customers on Millertown Road South of Township Road 289 will temporarily be without water service until the leak is repaired. We apologize and will have your service restored as soon as possible.

The boil advisory for the Mainesville Road System is lifted. Thank you to the customers for their patience.

Southern Perry Water will be repairing a leak Friday Morning (11-21-2025) around 9:00 a.m. on our Mainesville System. This includes Mainesville Road SW, Flagdale, Township Road 184, and Township Road 185. Customers in this area may experience water service interruption, low water pressure, or air in your lines. Our crew will get everyone back in service as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you could please let your neighbors know as not everyone follows this page. If you do experience no water at all, you will be under a boil advisory until at least Saturday afternoon. I will post on here when it’s been lifted. Thank you for your patience.
