Employee Spotlight - Records Specialist Wilcox
With an incredible 42 years of dedicated service to the Cromwell Police Deparment, Records Specialist Wilcox has been an invaluable member of the department since 1984. Throughout her career, she has supported numerous areas of department operations and played an essential role in keeping the department running efficiently.
In the Records Division, Records Specialist Wilcox has been responsible for maintaining accurate records and providing critical administrative support to officers and the community. Her responsibilities have also included support services, administrative duties, community outreach, and department logistics.
One of her key functions is compiling and submitting accurate crime and incident statistics to the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS), helping ensure the department’s reported data is complete, reliable, and compliant with federal reporting requirements. Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy provide valuable support to department operations, statistical analysis, and public safety efforts.
In addition to her records and administrative responsibilities, Record Specialist Wilcox has served as the department’s quartermaster , overseeing uniforms, equipment, and outfitting personnel to ensure officers have the necessary resources to perform their duties safely and effectively.
For more than four decades, Records Specialist Wilcox has demonstrated exceptional dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the department and the community it serves. Her knowledge, experience, and willingness to support both officers and residents have made her a respected and valued member of the department.
