The Houston County Firefighters Association endorses George Crowson Jr for County Commissioner in Houston County in the upcoming elections.
George has lead the Houston County Emergency Services District #2 for the past few years as President of the ESD #2 and proven that good things such as Fire and Emergency Protection can be improved tremendously.
Over the past few years, the fire service in Houston County is far beyond and better than anyone imagined 7 years ago.
Although there are others Commissioners within ESD #2 that have performed greatly and we appreciate them, George Crowson Jr presided as President and we thank him for his services.
If he were to be elected as a County Commissioner, we will miss his leadership.
FYI.
THANKS

Since some of you were lucky enough to receive a little rain, please do not do any outside burning. Houston County is still under a BURN BAN. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

As of today Houston County has been placed under a BURN BAN.
The area has become very dry and with very little rain chances in the future, the Burn Ban has been enacted until we have significant rain.
Be extremely cautious with anything that can cause a spark outside.
We appreciate your cooperation and be safe!!!
