Last night the Crocker Pool Board, of which I am a member, made the difficult and disappointing decision to not open the pool this summer. We had a leak last summer that was very expensive and we tried several things to fix it, to no avail. It is time to call in a pool professional to see what the problem is , if it is fixable, and how costly it could be to fix. Our hope is to be ready to go next May. The pool manager is supposed to be notifying everyone who had a party scheduled. I would like to remind everyone that the pool is independent of the City of Crocker and as such does not receive any revenue from tax dollars, it relies strictly on pool income and fundraisers, and is run by a board of volunteers.
