🇺🇸 Help Crocker Celebrate 250 Years of American Freedom! 🇺🇸

The City of Crocker is seeking sponsors and donations to help purchase new American flags that will proudly line North and South Commercial Street as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary of Freedom. Our Goal is to reach $1,000.00 so that we may purchase enough for replacements due to weather.

We want to make our community shine with patriotism and honor the values, freedoms, and sacrifices that make our nation great. This is an opportunity for businesses, organizations, families, and individuals to come together and help create a beautiful display of American pride throughout our town.

Let’s show everyone what small-town America is all about! ❤️🤍💙

Together, we can make Crocker stand tall and proudly display the red, white, and blue for this historic celebration.

If you would like to sponsor a flag or make a donation, you can drop off cash, or check and the donation can be made out to "City of Crocker" and dropped off to city hall during normal business hours or left in our night drop on the front of our building.

🇺🇸 Let’s make Crocker show its small-town American pride! 🇺🇸

“National Public Works Week” takes place from May 17–23, 2026, under the theme “Rooted in Service, Powered by Community”.

The annual observance, sponsored by the American Public Works Association (APWA), recognizes the essential professionals who plan, build, maintain, and operate the infrastructure that keeps our local communities running.

This week, we proudly celebrate National Public Works Week and recognize the incredible crew that keeps the City of Crocker running day in and day out.

What makes our Public Works team even more special is that many of them also serve as local volunteer firefighters—answering the call to protect our community at a moment’s notice, all while continuing their essential roles with the City.

Their work isn’t easy. They are responsible for maintaining and operating a fragile and aging infrastructure system, often facing unexpected challenges that require long hours, quick problem-solving, and a whole lot of dedication.

Whether it’s water, sewer, streets, or emergency repairs, they handle it all—usually behind the scenes and without recognition.

Their dedication, skill, and commitment do not go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do for our City!

If you see a Public Works employee this week, take a moment to say THANK YOU! 👏
