Friends of the Flowage got together to raise awareness and funding to help local businesses in the area to receive AED’s. (An automated external defibrillator)
It’s used in cases of cardiac arrest.

-Amanda’s Thunder Lake
-Kapals Korner
-Caldron Falls
There are many others from the FOF that also contributed in the raising of money for this cause.
Several Twin Bridge members were also there at Caldron Falls tonight to support and assist in any questions or concerns regarding the AED’s.
Twin Bridge Rescue will also meet with the owners to discuss when and how to use them.
This is such a great idea.

We had the cutest little volunteer for a training session last night.
We went through the required pounds and measurements for acetaminophen and ibuprofen dosing on children.

We use a device called the Broselow Pediatric Emergency Tape which is is a color-coded measuring tape used during medical emergencies to quickly estimate a child's weight and determine correct drug doses and equipment sizes based on their height.

Sweet Miss Sophie was 5 kilograms.
She would get a max dosage of 2 ml.

We just acquired five AEDs for our first responders thanks to two wonderful organizations!

First, a thank you to the Crivitz Area Woman's Club for the donation back in June. The Crivitz Area Woman's Club is an excellent charitable organization that has been there for us for many years. They do so much for the community and we sincerely thank you!

Another big thank you goes to the Wisconsin Public Service Foundation. Twin Bridge Rescue Squad was one out of 41 public safety agencies selected for the 2026 Rewarding Responders Grant.
