Tonight, the Crisfield Planning Commission reviewed preliminary site plans for the proposed McCready Medical Pavilion project located on West Main Street.

Discussion included proposed parcel consolidation, zoning review, parking, stormwater management, landscaping, utilities, and overall site improvements associated with the project.

Representatives discussed plans for a proposed 27,000-square-foot medical facility intended to provide a variety of healthcare services under one roof, including urgent care, diagnostic imaging and lab services, rehabilitation services, and primary/behavioral healthcare services.

The proposed project represents an estimated $25 million investment in the community and is expected to offer a modern healthcare facility. Preliminary timelines discussed anticipate completion in late 2027 or early 2028.

It was also noted during discussion that operational decisions regarding emergency room services would ultimately be determined by TidalHealth.

No final approvals were made during tonight’s meeting, as the project remains in the preliminary review stage.

Conceptual renderings and additional project information have previously been shared online by project representatives.
