This month's Village Council Meeting will be tomorrow at 9:00am at the Cridersville Elementary School. We hold a regular council meeting at the school every year to educate and show the students how our community holds a meeting and lets the kids ask questions to the councilors.

Village crews will be conducting our annual spring fire hydrant flushing program this Friday and Saturday nights. Water may be discolored due to the water system being stirred up. This does not affect the quality of water. Water is still safe to use. Any discoloration will settle back out once the system restabilizes.

This Saturday is the Food Truck Festival & Jeep Invasion brought to you by the Cridersville Volunteer Fire Department.

In preparation of another great turn out, Main St. will be closed from Waverly Street to Carlisle Street on Saturday for the event and detoured around via Sugar Street. We ask residents that live within the closed blocks of Main Street to please remove your vehicles off of Main Street during this time for the event. We thank everyone in advance for you cooperation!

For those that are interested in becoming a village leader, we have a vacant Village Council seat that has become available. Joe Bailey has recently stepped down and resigned. We appreciate all his years of hard work and dedication and thank him for his service.
For those village residents that are interested, submit a letter or interest to the mayor's office. Deadline is April 21, 2026.
