The Village is having the water tower by the village Hall cleaned. There are valves on hydrants around the village to help with water pressure while this being done. You may see them flow water occasionally. One of those valves is by our station 2. These will be on for approximately 30 days

Consumers should stop using ovens in the recalled ranges immediately and contact Electrolux Group for a free repair. Electrolux Group will provide professional in-home installation of a new bake burner at no cost to consumers. Consumers can continue to use the cooktop burners on the range.

I want to take a minute and thank my Fire Dept Team, friends, family, colleagues, and CCPD Officers that attended a surprise 60th birthday party at the FD tonight. I can't express enough what it meant for you to take time out of your day to be there. They also recognized not only my 25 years on the department but also my wife Kathy for her support of those 25 years. I can truly say the Chief does not make the department successful, it is the members and spouses. Also the support from the Village Clerk, Treasurer, Board members and street department makes things work smoothly. I can't forget working closely with the Creve Coeur Police Department to ensure we all come home safe is a cooperation I can not express enough gratitude. The following people make this department great and I am proud of each and everyone of them.

Now is time to prepare. Time is a few storms after 2PM; then widespread after 6PM in north central IL.
