The Village of Crestwood will be conducting fire hydrant flushing throughout the village for the next several weeks.

Hydrant flushing is a routine maintenance procedure to remove mineral sediments and ensure proper functioning of hydrants and quality of water.

During this time, you may experience a reduction in water pressure or a discoloration of your water. Both of these effects are temporary, and while the discoloration is not harmful, it is best to let the faucet run until the water is clear.
