Main Street, the heart of our community and the center of city and county government, will have an inviting appearance, highlighted by
historic architecture, and will enhance the civic, cultural and local economic viability of the entire community - retail, restaurant, service,
amusement, academic, arts and government. Main Street Crestview will be a strong local business community and an inviting destination for all ages with:

•A clean, safe, well-lighted and inviting appearance day and night;

•Appealing storefronts showcasing a variety of welcoming and multicultural retail venues and professional, financial and government arenas;

•Locations and activities that will attract, benefit, and educate area residents, and visitors;

•Historic architecture that offers visual unity and proactively attracts visitors and citizens of all ages and ethnicities to our Main Street.

•Creating a reputation for welcoming and supporting new businesses while uniformly continuing to support our iconic anchors of old;

🎨 CALL FOR CREATIVES — 2027 Triple B BBQ Festival 🔥

We're looking for the design that will define the next Triple B BBQ Festival — the official t-shirt, the poster, and everything that comes with it.

You don't need to be a professional artist. No degree, no studio, no portfolio. If you draw, paint, letter, print, photograph, or design on a screen, this is open to you. We're looking for one strong idea.

TWO WINNERS — judged separately, so youth never compete against adults:
🏆 YOUTH (grades K–8) — $250
🏆 OPEN (ages 14 and up) — $500

Both winning designs get produced on the official festival t-shirt and poster, with credit in festival promotion. Winners also choose one: five festival t-shirts, ten unsigned posters, or a 10x10 booth at the festival.

No entry fee. One entry per person.

HOW IT WORKS:
📅 Sept 30 at 4:00 PM — entry deadline
🗳️ Oct 1–14 — the community votes right here on Facebook to pick the top five in each category
⭐ Oct 15–30 — Final selection voting
🎉 Oct 31 — winners announced at Fall Festival

Keep it human. Drawing, painting, screen print, linocut, collage, mixed media, photography, and digital illustration you created yourself are all welcome.

🎨 CALLING ALL GULF COAST CREATIVES 🎨

Main Street Crestview is looking for the artwork that will represent the 2027 Triple B BBQ Festival. Bands, brews, and barbecue.

🔥 Whatever that brings to mind for you, that is what we want to see.

We are not handing you a brief. The whole point is to find out what a festival built on smoke, live music, and a downtown full of people looks like through your eyes.

🎸 Bold and graphic, loose and hand-painted, retro, folk art, whatever your style already is.

The winning design goes on every shirt and poster we print, so think about something that reads well from across a crowd and still holds up on a wall.

🖌️ Any medium works. Pencil, paint, screen print, collage, digital. Original human-made artwork only, no AI generated.

🏆 Two categories, Youth and Open, with $750 in prizes total.

The community votes on the finalists and every entry is judged anonymously by number, so the design wins on its own merit.

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we're celebrating the work of Main Street Crestview and the people who make downtown revitalization possible.

Main Street Crestview Association is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and reviving historic downtown Crestview — and giving people a reason to gather there. Throughout the year, we:

-Support and promote locally owned businesses
-Organize events that bring people downtown
-Lead beautification, historic preservation, and placemaking projects
-Create campaigns that encourage people to shop, dine, and explore downtown
-Connect businesses with resources and opportunities
-Coordinate volunteers, sponsors, and community partnerships
-Advocate for continued investment in our historic downtown
-Work to preserve the history, character, and identity of Crestview

From Triple B BBQ in the spring to the Fall Festival, Holiday Market, and Christmas Parade — with a new downtown mural going up this fall — our work is about creating a downtown where businesses thrive, people gather, and our community's story keeps going. Every one of those takes months of planning, dozens of volunteers, and a community that keeps showing up.

We can't wait for you to see what we have in store this event season, and the projects we'll be bringing to life downtown.

But Main Street Crestview isn't just an organization. It's truly a community effort.

Thank you to our Board of Directors, who give their time, talent, and leadership year-round. Thank you to our Executive Director that gives her entire heart to MSCA. Thank you to our volunteers, our downtown businesses, our sponsors and community partners, and everyone who shops local, attends an event, shares a post, or believes in the future of downtown.

Because downtown is worth showing up for.
