Gunnison Valley RTA We Move You! Providing air and ground transportation to the Gunnison Valley!

The mission of the Gunnison Valley Transportation Authority (RTA) is to provide and improve air transportation to and from the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport on a year-round basis, to provide a long term and energy efficient public transit system between the north and south ends of the Highway 135 corridor, and to provide senior and human services transportation in Gunnison County.

The Gunnison Valley RTA partners with Gunnison Valley Health to provide Senior Transportation Service in Gunnison and within three service miles of the City limits. Service is provided seven days a week from 9 AM to 4 PM. Rides should be scheduled at least two hours in advance.

For Senior transportation needs outside of Gunnison and within other areas of the GVRTA district, or for trips to appointments in Montrose and Grand Junction, please contact the Crested Butte Senior Van to request a ride. You must contact them between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM Monday to Friday and provide at least 7 days advance notice. The Crested Butte Senior Van can be reached at at 970-275-4768 to request a ride. Tips for drivers are encouraged.
