CB South Metro District is hiring a Full-Time Road Manager & Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
This job requires motor grader and heavy equipment operation. Training is available for the right applicant. The role is responsible for overseeing all road-related activities and supervising staff to ensure the District’s roads are safely maintained for employees and the public. Heavy equipment operation includes, but is not limited to, motor grader, loader, backhoe, snowplows, gravel truck, and other assigned equipment or vehicles. This is a skilled position involving road maintenance, snow removal, equipment operation, manual labor, and the maintenance and repair of light and heavy motorized equipment. Routine operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems is also required, including occasional repairs to related facilities and infrastructure. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License. The successful applicant is eligible for an elite, full benefits package. This position would be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all activities and staff related to the District’s roads and maintain and keep the District’s roads safe for employees and the public. This position operates various pieces of District equipment. Gravel truck, snowplows, loader, grader, backhoe, and other assigned equipment or vehicles. This is a skilled position consisting of, but not limited to, equipment operation, manual labor, and maintenance, repair of various pieces of light and heavy motorized equipment, road maintenance, snow removal and other generalized work. Employee of this class must be able to correctly diagnose and make repairs to a variety of equipment. Employee must have the ability to operate the various pieces of equipment with independence. Routine operation and maintenance of water / wastewater, including occasional repairs on facilities and infrastructure is required. Applicants must be 18 years of age and have a valid Colorado Driver’s License. The successful applicant is eligible to receive an elite full benefit package.
