Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lee family as they go through this difficult time.

Frederick “Gordie” was a well know member of the community. He served as a member of the Cresson Volunteer Fire Company and worked as an officer with the Cresson Borough Police Department where he dedicated his life to serving his community.

Thank you for all that you have done for our community and you will be forever remembered. 🖤💙

Today, we honor the memory of Police Chief Fred Pfeister of the Cresson Borough Police Department. Tragically, Chief Pfeister lost his life in the line of duty on June 8, 1996, when a drunk driver struck him during the early morning hours, just as he was concluding his patrol shift.

We pay tribute to his service and sacrifice, and continue to honor his legacy in our department.

Forever in our hearts. 💙🖤

SAVE THE DATE! 📅

- Hosting an activity or informational booth
- Volunteering your time during the event

Your involvement would not only help strengthen our community but also demonstrate your
commitment to fostering a safe and united neighborhood.

As your local law enforcement, we want to take a moment to highlight National Police Week 2026, observed from May 10 to 16. This is a dedicated time for all of us to honor the service, bravery, and sacrifices made by law enforcement officers across the nation. Established by Congress in 1962, this week also includes Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15, a day to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

During this week, we pay tribute to the men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting our families and communities. We remember the fallen officers who gave everything for the safety of their fellow citizens, and we stand firmly with the families they left behind.

We also acknowledge the officers who have been injured while serving and the families who have steadfastly supported them through their challenges and recovery.

Together, we pledge our unwavering support to all who continue to serve with honor. Thank you for standing with us and supporting our mission.💙

Today, Officer Lupton had the pleasure of visiting All Saints Catholic School (K-4th) to read to our young future leaders! 📚✨

Officer Lupton read her personal favorite— Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss. It’s a book that celebrates life's journey, encouraging readers to embrace both its triumphs and challenges with perseverance and a positive attitude.

The smiles on their faces and the thoughtful questions they asked remind us just how crucial these interactions are. Thank you for welcoming us!
