Cambria Alliance EMS is excited to announce that we have been awarded $189,731 in grant funding for the purchase of new cardiac monitors!

We would like to extend a special thank you to Loretto Borough for their assistance and support throughout the grant application process. Partnerships with the municipalities and communities we serve play an important role in helping us continue to move our organization forward.

Modern cardiac monitors are among the most important—and most expensive—pieces of equipment carried on an advanced life support ambulance. Purchases of this size simply would not be possible for our organization without grant funding and the continued support of our municipalities, community partners, and residents.

These new monitors will provide our EMS professionals with updated technology to assess, monitor, and treat critically ill and injured patients throughout our service area. More importantly, this investment represents another step forward in Cambria Alliance EMS’s ongoing commitment to improving the care we provide our communities.

We continue to work toward strengthening our organization, investing in our providers, modernizing our equipment, and ensuring that our crews have the tools they need when our neighbors need us most.

We are incredibly grateful for this funding and for everyone who helped make this project possible.

🚑 EXCITING NEWS FOR CAMBRIA ALLIANCE EMS! 🚑

Cambria Alliance EMS is excited to announce that we have officially signed an agreement with SGS Architects of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, for the design and development of our new EMS station on Admiral Peary Highway.

This agreement marks an important milestone in a project that represents a significant investment in the future of emergency medical services in our community. Working alongside SGS Architects, we will begin developing plans for a modern EMS facility designed to better support our personnel, equipment, operations, and the communities we proudly serve.

The new station will provide Cambria Alliance EMS with the space and infrastructure necessary to meet the demands of today while preparing for the continued growth and evolution of EMS in the years ahead.

There is still a great deal of work ahead as we move through the design and development process, but we are excited to officially take this next step forward.

We look forward to sharing updates with our community as plans progress and this vision begins to take shape.

Building for the future. Investing in our providers. Strengthening EMS for our communities.

Today, Cambria Alliance EMS joins our nation in remembering the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honoring the countless first responders, healthcare professionals, service members, and ordinary citizens who answered an unimaginable tragedy with extraordinary courage.

For those of us in emergency services, September 11 carries a special meaning. We remember the firefighters, EMS providers, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, and others who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to serving others continue to inspire us 25 years later.

We also remember the families who lost loved ones and all those whose lives were forever changed that day.

May we never forget the lives lost.
May we never forget the heroes who answered the call.

We at Cambria Alliance believe that valuable life saving education should be easily accessible. Over the past several days, we had the privilege of being able to educate several local teachers and school staff in CPR and first aid. We want to thank Cambria Heights elementary school in Carrolltown, Saint Michael’s school in Loretto, and All Saints school in Cresson for having us in to teach them these life-saving skills before the upcoming school year.

At CAEMS one of our goals is to make valuable life saving education accessible to all. Earlier this week we had the opportunity to give a CPR class to the congregation of St Augustine church. Nearly 30 people came out to learn or refresh on this life saving skill. We want to thank St Augustine church for inviting us out to teach them. If you, your business, or organization are interested in CPR, first aid, stop the bleed, and other important life saving classes please reach out to us so, we would love help you.

Yesterday saw one of the largest events in the history of Cresson. With estimates of 7000 people or more in our area, we want to highlight the amazing crews that spent the day making sure everyone was safe. Thanks to these guys and many that are not pictured that the day went smoothly and without any major incident. We also want to thank Blacklick Valley EMS for lending us their ATV to use for the day. If you had a chance to visit our town and area over this past weekend, we hope you enjoyed yourself.

National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and
neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and more connected.

This year’s event will take place at Mount Aloysious College from 5:00pm-8:00pm and we are expecting strong participation from local residents, families, and community leaders.
