HELP WANTED
The City of Cresco is seeking applications for a part-time Janitor position. This position provides cleaning services on a regular and as-needed schedule for the Library, Kessel Lodge, and City Hall. Responsibilities include all necessary duties required to clean and maintain the building. Must be reliable, have attention to detail, have flexibility in your schedule to clean daily if necessary. Lost Dog - Cocoa went missing around 7:30 AM from the 200 block of 6th Ave East. She is a 6 year old female wearing a pink collar. Very friendly and loves kids. If found or seen, please call the Cresco Police Department at 563-547-2424.

City of Cresco Comprehensive Plan
Planning and Zoning Commission
The City of Cresco Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive comments on the proposed Cresco Comprehensive Plan.
The public hearing will be held:
Date: June 10, 2026
Time: 6 PM
Location: Cresco City Hall
Address: 130 North Park Place, Cresco, Iowa 52136
The Comprehensive Plan is intended to guide future decision-making related to land use, housing, transportation, economic development, public facilities, community character, natural resources, hazard mitigation, and other topics affecting the long-term growth and development of Cresco.
All interested residents, property owners, business owners, and other members of the public are encouraged to attend and provide comments. Written comments may also be submitted to the City of Cresco prior to the hearing at Cresco City Hall, or via the plan’s webpage: https://uerpc.org/cresco-comprehensive-plan/.
A copy of the proposed Comprehensive Plan is available for public review at Cresco City Hall during regular business hours and may also be accessed on the plan’s webpage (listed above).
Following the public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission may consider making a recommendation to the Cresco City Council regarding adoption of the Cresco Comprehensive Plan.

Water bills have been emailed. We are so grateful for everyone that has signed up for auto pay. The bill does not say 'PD by Bank' on it. We will ask if it can be added for next month.
