The City of Crescent City, CA is known for its beautiful beaches and surrounding old growth Redwood forests. Incorporated in 1854, it is one of the oldest cities in California, and serves as the county seat for Del Norte County. The area is well known as the site of the Battery Point Lighthouse and the headquarters of Redwood National and State Parks.

We have not great news and GREAT news! The not so great news is that due to a delay in materials arriving for Front Street construction, the project won't start as soon as planned. THE GREAT NEWS is that the typical 4th of July parade route is back! NO CHANGES TO THE PARADE ROUTE. However, construction will be happening at the Cultural Center, so the July 3rd DECK PARTY will still happen at the 3rd Street Clock Tower parking lot! Happy Birthday, America! Please share!

The 2026 4th of July parade route and deck party has changed this year due to Front Street and nearby construction. The parade route will start at its regular location at 9th and H, but continue down H Street to Front Street. Once at Front, the parade will head towards the ocean. (A map will be published soon). The deck party will be held at the 3rd street clock tower parking lot. Change can be fun but challenging so we hope you'll embrace it and have a wonderful celebration for America's 250th birthday!
