We are honored to announce Deputy T. Simmons has graduated from the Butte College Police Academy. Deputy Simmons started with the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office in 2024 as a correctional deputy. He worked hard and earned an opportunity to be sponsored through the academy. He will begin his new assignment as a Deputy Bailiff very soon. We couldn't be more proud of Deputy Simmons!

While there, he earned the title of 'Top Shot' at the academy! Just like his father and grandfather did at the very same police academy in years past. A very special honor for three generations.
