Are you passionate about supporting seniors and low-income residents in our community? Do you have ideas, energy, or experience to share? Redwood Cove Senior Apartments, the Del Norte Senior Center and the Endowment Fund of the Del Norte Senior Center are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic individuals to join our Boards of Directors!

Who we're Looking For:
-Community-minded individuals who care about enhancing the lives of older adults and low-income individuals and families.
-People with skills in leadership, finance, fundraising, event planning or outreach
-Team players ready to collaborate and make a meaningful impact
What you'll do:
-Help guide the vision and future of the Del Norte Senior Center or Redwood Cove Senior Apartments.
-Oversee and increase the visibility of and contributions to the Endowment Fund of the Del Norte Senior Center.
-Support programs, events, and services for local seniors and low-income individuals and families.
-Attend regular board meetings in person or by Zoom and participate in decision-making. The Senior Center meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, Redwood Cove meets quarterly on the fourth Tuesday of January, April, July, and October at noon and the Endowment Fund of the Del Norte Senior Center meets quarterly on a date and time arranged by the board members.

Time Commitment:
Approximately 2-3 hours per month, including meetings and occasional events

Today’s lunch at the Senior Center was a delicious and balanced plate—tender chicken topped with a savory sauce, seasoned rice, fresh vegetables, and a sweet fruit cup on the side. Meals made with care, served with purpose. ❤️

We’re proud to provide hot, nutritious lunches Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM right here in Crescent City.

Happy Monday!!
Today’s meal for our seniors was a classic, comforting favorite 🍝

We served up hearty spaghetti with a rich meat sauce, topped with cheese, alongside a fresh crisp salad and warm bread. On the side, applesauce for a touch of sweetness and milk to round out a well-balanced meal.

Simple, satisfying, and made with care—because our seniors deserve a hot, quality meal every day ❤️
