Get ready for a splashy adventure! Join us for a special screening of “ Pout-Pout Fish” movie on Friday, June 26 at 2:00 PM.

Based on the beloved children's book series, this movie follows our favorite gloomy fish as he discovers that being a "pout-pout fish" isn't his only option. It’s the perfect way to cool off and enjoy some family-friendly entertainment at the library.

Southeastern Reptile Encounter at the Library!
Get ready for an adventure! 🐍🐢 We are thrilled to host Jason Clark and Southeastern Reptile Rescue for a series of live shows across our library branches on Wednesday, June 24.

Jason will be bringing a variety of live snakes and reptiles for an educational and exciting encounter you won't want to miss. Come learn about these fascinating creatures and see them up close!

Unearth a Story with GA DNR
Tuesday, June 16

Get ready to go back in time! As part of our "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Program theme, we are hosting a very special visit from Kimberly Clements and the McDuffie Environmental Education Center (GA DNR).

Join us Tuesday, June 16 at 3:30 p.m. as we explore how modern-day critters like snakes, turtles, and roaches lived during the time of the dinosaurs and learn about their incredible adaptations for survival.

Dino Eggs Excavation: A Prehistoric Adventure!

Calling all young paleontologists! As part of our "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Program, we are hosting a special craft workshop where you can dig into the past.

Join us for our Dino Eggs Excavation workshop! Children will have the opportunity to discover what's hidden inside their very own prehistoric egg.
