REMINDER!

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Yondr Pouches for Grades 7-12 are to be returned with student laptops.

Below is the laptop return schedule for Grades 6-12:

Grade 6: Monday, June 22 (will be collected during homeroom)
Grade 7 & 8 (for those going to Washington, D.C.): Thursday, June 18 (in front of HS Cafeteria)
Grade 7 & 8 (for those who are not going to Washington, D.C.): Tuesday, June 23 (in atrium hallway upstairs)
Grades 9-12: Wednesday, June 17th - Thursday, June 25 ( before student's last regents exam, in front of HS Cafeteria)

Science Research students are permitted to keep their devices over the summer. All other student laptops must be returned to E250 by Thursday, June 25 for summer upgrades and repairs.

On June 4, Work-Based Learning Coordinator Amy Genito hosted a Career & Trades Fair for students in Grades 7–12! Students had the opportunity to explore a variety of career paths as local businesses and professionals lined the atrium, sharing information about their industries and answering questions.

The event allowed students to connect directly with professionals, learn about potential career opportunities, and gain valuable insight into fields that interest them.

A huge thank you to all of the businesses and professionals who participated and took the time to speak with our students. Your support helped make this event a success! We are excited by the positive response and hope to make the Career Fair an annual event for our students and community.

The Taconic Hills CSD Before & After School Program is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026–2027 school year are now open to the public. Applications can be accessed using the link below or through the district website.

Our program is available to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. The morning program operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:50 AM. The afternoon program runs Monday through Thursday from 2:35 PM to 6:00 PM and Fridays from 2:35 PM to 5:00 PM. Bus transportation is available for students enrolled in the afternoon program at 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday.

Enrollment spots are extremely limited due to the small number of current students aging out of the program. As a result, applications will be reviewed and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis in the order they are received.

Families will be notified in July regarding their child's enrollment status. At that time, you will be informed whether your child has been accepted into the program or placed on the waitlist.

Please read and complete the application carefully to ensure all required information is provided, and your application can be processed without delay.

This afternoon, the Jr./Sr. High School came together for a surprise retirement celebration honoring Angela Webster and her thirty-one years of service to Taconic Hills.

A Roe Jan (now Taconic Hills) graduate herself, Angela has dedicated so much of her life to the District. Thanks to the Senior Class, along with Ms. Shook, Mr. Piper, and Mrs. Jause, the celebration featured a pep rally-style tribute complete with a slideshow highlighting her time at Taconic Hills, a fun sibling rivalry game, signs featuring her face on them, a special banner displayed in the gym dedicated to her father, and the official dedication of her Athletic Director cart as "Web's Wagon."

Anyone who knows Taconic Hills knows Angela Webster. She has been a Coach, Athletic Director, Math Teacher, Mentor, Role Model, Friend, and more. For more than three decades, she has been a constant presence in the lives of our students, staff, and community members. She has done it all tirelessly for her love of the game, the students, and the District. Her impact on Taconic Hills extends far beyond any one title, and she has helped shape generations of Titans.

While she will be greatly missed, we are excited for her as she begins this next chapter. Congratulations, Angela, on an incredible career, and thank you for everything you have given to Taconic Hills. We wish you a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement, and hope you (finally) find time to take a break!
