Emergencies can happen without warning—but one way we can all be prepared is by helping ensure hospitals have a ready supply of blood before it's needed.
Blood can't be manufactured, and during emergencies, patients rely on donations that were given before a crisis occurs. That's why maintaining a strong, stable blood supply is an essential part of community preparedness.
This National Preparedness Month, add blood donation to your preparedness checklist. Rhode Island Blood Center hosts daily blood drives and operates six donor centers across the state, making it easy to help ensure lifesaving blood is available whenever patients need it.
🩸 Schedule an appointment to donate at our Preparedness Month Blood Drive Friday September 11th from 11AM-5PM https://donate.ribc.org/donor/schedules/sponsor_code and use code RR0632
