Cranston Animal Shelter, RI Cranston Animal Control is the municipal Animal Control Department and Shelter for Cranston, RI under the Cranston Police Department.

This social media site used by the Animal Control Department, allows for comments to be posted by the public. The page administrators reserve the right to edit or remove content based on the criteria listed below. The following will not be allowed on this site:

This site shall be used to promote lost and found animals, animals available for adoption, volunteer information, special events, fundraising for vet care for shelter animals, and other animal related information and photos. Animal control services (such as loose animals, animal bites, animal complaints) and animal related legislation must be called in to the shelter at 464-8700 or the police station at 942-2211. Adoptions are available during open hours. We do not provide same day adoptions as to ensure all animals are placed in the best home possible. Handsome Bodey is one of those success stories. Thanks to his loving foster home, he is enjoying life away from the daily stresses of the shelter and is truly blossoming.

Bodey is an 11-month-old pup who is currently living with another dog and doing wonderfully—they've become the best of friends! He would love to find a family of his own to continue his journey.
