Program Mission: Engel Adult Day Care Center provides older adults with socialization and motivational activites in a loving, caring atmosphere. A home away from home, the center welcomr seniors who need a structred environment, campanionship, and monitioring. It offers respite for caregivers, allowing them to perform other duties. Program Description Stimulating An active daily schedule features a host of enjoyable experiences: * Creative crafts *Chair exercises *Small discussion groups * Table games *Sing-alongs *Reminiscing and re-motivation therapy *Trivia *Gardening *Intergenerational programs Basic Information: Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks: An attractive continental breakfast, a hot nutritious lunch and two(2) snacks are provided daily. Cost: The Center is non-profit organization which was founded in 1982. It is funded by client fees, donations and the generosity of friends. A limited number of grant slots are available based upon need. **Center staff will be happy to arrange an appointment to discuss fees and to tour the center** Transportation: Transportation is available for most Union County residents at no additional cost. Pick-up time ranges from 8:00a.m. to 9:00a.m. Return trip is between 4:00p.m. and 5:00p.m.
