The Forest Count Christmas Parade has been and continues to be such a staple for the community. In support of the Forest County Christmas Parade and all of the activities that go along with it, we are organizing a chili cook off and movie night fundraiser! All proceeds will go directly to the Christmas parade and activities.

This fundraiser will take place on Thursday, October 8th on the courthouse main lawn. The chili cook off will begin at 6:30 PM and the movie to follow. Entry to the event is free.

We are hoping to get more participants in the chili cook off. If you, your friends or family, or any businesses are interested in entering the chili cook off please email the above email address with your name and phone number or comment below. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be gifted with a customized gift! ✨

We are also seeking raffle donations from any businesses that are able. Your generosity will help us bring in more proceeds for our Christmas parade. If you know of any businesses that would be willing to donate please message our page privately or email [email protected]. We thank you ahead of time for any donations.

We hope to see you all there supporting this small town tradition! ⛄️❤️

🇮🇪 Ireland Trip Highlight: Cliffs of Moher

Fun fact: The Cliffs of Moher rise nearly 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and stretch for about 5 miles along Ireland’s west coast!

📸 Calling all Forest County photographers!

We're on the hunt for the photo that will grace the cover of our 2027 Visitor Guide, and it could be yours!

Whether it's a quiet lake, fall colors along a back road, a snowmobile trip with friends, or a moment that just made you stop and take a breath... if you captured it here in Forest County, we want to see it. 🌲

Here's how to enter:
- Fill out the entry form: https://forms.gle/YpYKsX9rkbtbe1Ag7
- Upload your photo via email to [email protected] ... name your file with your name (like Smith_Jane_Lake.jpg). Without a name on the file, we can't give you credit!
- Make sure it's a clear, high-quality, high-resolution image- cover photos need to look sharp in print
- Vertical (portrait) photos preferred... that's the shape of our cover!
- Photo must be taken in Forest County

Entries close October 30th. One winner takes the cover, and selected photos may also be featured on our website and social media!
