Here are some pictures from our Neshnabek Wigwas Thiman (birch bark canoe) gathering. We did the maiden launch of our Wigwas-thiman from this year's canoe build. Igwiyen to Wayne Valliere, Leon Valliere, Kieth Newago, Dan Hinmon, and Ned Daniels for bringing your Wigwassi-Thimanan to the birch bark canoe gathering. It sure was amazing to see the 3 fires of our nation paddling together and revitalizing canoe culture for the next generation.
