• shares a vision of
enhancing education in Crandall ISD
• works to increase private support for educational activities in Crandall ISD
• benefits Crandall ISD students and staff personnel by supporting activities not funded by tax dollars
• fosters creative approaches to education through private grants and involvement
• awards Foundation funds through a volunteer Board of Directors made up of business, community and educational leaders. The Crandall ISD Education Foundation will provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning and enhance opportunities for all students enrolled in the Crandall Independent School District. Funding priorities for the Foundation were developed by representative teachers, administrators and the Board of Directors. The initial priorities include:
• Innovative Teaching Grants
• Technology
• Economic/Special Needs of Students
• School/Community Partnerships Programs/Projects
• Student/Teacher Recognition Programs
• Endowed student scholarships
• Professional development scholarships
• Permanent Endowment Fund
