🦅Happy Labor Day, Crandall!🦅

Every thriving community is built by hardworking people, and today we celebrate the workers who help keep our city, state, and nation moving forward.

Labor Day is a federal holiday celebrated on the first Monday of September to honor American workers. It grew from the 19th-century labor movement to recognize worker contributions, improve harsh factory conditions, and establish a standard work schedule. In 1894, President Grover Cleveland signed Labor Day into law as an official national holiday.

🛎️A reminder that the City of Crandall Administrative Offices are closed today in observance of Labor Day, but will reopen tomorrow at 8 a.m.

This Just In: Water service has been fully restored for the affected area. Because of the outage, you may notice air in the lines or brief discoloration as service normalizes. Running your tap for a few seconds should clear it. Thank you for your patience while our Public Works team completed repairs.

A water main break has occurred. At this time, we do not have an estimated restoration time, but crews are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue and restore service.
Affected streets/businesses in the following areas:
📍 Scotties Exxon
📍 Dairy Queen
📍 Mowry St
📍 6th St
📍 Gertrude St

It's possible that more areas will be affected, but these are the streets directly impacted as of now.

We understand this disruption is inconvenient and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the repair process. Updates will be provided as they become available.
