This week, the Moffat County Sheriff’s Office proudly recognizes National Police Week and honors the men and women in law enforcement who serve and protect our communities every day.

We especially remember the officers across this nation who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage, dedication, and commitment to others will never be forgotten.

We also want to thank the deputies, detention deputies, dispatchers, investigators, support staff, and all first responders who continue to answer the call day and night with professionalism and dedication. Serving a rural community like Moffat County comes with unique challenges, and we are proud of those who wear the badge with Passion, Pride, and Purpose.

Please join us this week in showing appreciation for all law enforcement officers and remembering those who gave their lives in service to others.
