With Whittle the Wood 2026 approaching, we wanted to share a few highlights from last year’s Whittle the Wood weekend in Craig. 🌲🪵

This event has become one of those iconic Moffat County weekends people look forward to every summer. From live chainsaw carving and local artisans to music, food, brews, and time spent with the community, it always brings great energy to Craig.

This year’s 26th Annual Whittle the Wood Rendezvous returns June 18–20, 2026 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds. It will feature live music from Boys of Summer, Crystal Visions, James Williams & The Faith Peddlers, and Brian Ghirardelli alongside all the carving action and festivities throughout the weekend.
