The final May 2026 The Arts Association in Newton County Live at Lunch Concert on the Square is Thursday, May 28, 2026 featuring local music legend Mack McKibben and Friends! The music starts at 12 p.m., weather permitting, and is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a meal or snack from a Covington, Georgia Historic Downtown Entertainment District business while listening to the talents of a business owner! Bring a chair or blanket for seating. 🎶🎵🎶

Lunch concert in the Covington, Georgia Historic Downtown Entertainment District from noon to 1 p.m. today, Thursday, May 21, 2026 featuring Ronnie Pittman and the Vinyl Review! Enjoy some music, presented by The Arts Association in Newton County , in our beautiful downtown and take a moment to stroll the sidewalks into the stores to shop, dine, and enjoy the !

The 2026 Covington Farmers Market Ag Day starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 on the Square in the Covington, Georgia Historic Downtown Entertainment District.

Vendors, tractors, music, face painting for a nominal fee by Powders and Paint face and body art , the petting zoo, and educational booths will be on the Square until 2 p.m. although sometimes the farmers market vendors run out early! Come out and enjoy a family friendly, sunny Saturday while the music of The New Apostles of Bluegrass fills the air.

Our businesses and restaurants will also be open to shop, dine, and enjoy before, during, and after Ag Day!

*There will be a partial Square closure to vehicular traffic. Church Street and Monticello Street within the Square will be closed. Eastbound traffic can travel in the south lane of Washington Street and westbound traffic can travel in the north lane of Clark Street. Eastbound traffic cannot enter the Square on Clark Street and westbound traffic cannot enter the Square at College Avenue and Elm Street.*
