💼 Entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners gathered at the Kenton County Public Library's Covington Branch for the NKY Small Business Resource Fair hosted by the ECDI Women's Business Center of Greater Cincinnati.

Mayor Washington welcomed attendees with opening remarks, highlighting the importance of small businesses to Covington's economy.

The free event connected attendees with the resources, organizations, and expertise needed to start or grow their businesses. The City of Covington's Economic Development Department was proud to participate with an exhibit and panel discussion focused on supporting local entrepreneurs.

Events like this strengthen the small business ecosystem that helps our community thrive.

🚦 Traffic Update

The new traffic signal at Pike St. & Hermes Ave. will be fully activated tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, according to KYTC District 6.

Please use caution when traveling through the intersection as drivers and pedestrians adjust to the new signal.

The traffic signal installed at this intersection in Covington is now on flashing red (as of this afternoon). For now, you'll treat the signal as a three-way stop. Tomorrow morning (Tuesday, June 23), we're expecting to fully activate this signal.

Engineers will review signal timing and phasing over the coming days and weeks following the signal being activated. Some adjustments may be made at the intersection and along the signed detour to allow for traffic to flow more efficiently.

📚 Visit the Covington and Latonia branches of the Kenton County Public Library for books and summer activities.

🏛️Explore the Behringer-Crawford Museum in Devou Park, where interactive exhibits help kids discover local history, transportation, music, and culture in a fun and engaging way.

🌳 Pack a picnic and enjoy one of the region's best views overlooking Covington and Cincinnati from Devou Park.

🔍 Pick up a Word Walk Passport at City Hall or at the Kenton County Public Library and follow the Word Walk through a Covington neighborhood to learn new words and collect prizes.

🚧 Smoother streets are on the way!

The City of Covington is launching an extensive street resurfacing effort that will improve portions of more than 25 streets across 10 neighborhoods, helping create safer and more reliable roadways for all.

🎉 Take a look back at this year's Fun Fest!

Hosted by Read Ready Covington and Covington Parks & Recreation, the 5th Annual Early Childhood Fun Fest brought families together for an afternoon filled with games, a petting zoo, prizes, food, and plenty of educational activities.
