We're just one week away from the Kenton County Detention Center's 4th Annual Trunk or Treat!! The event kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 6:00 p.m. and runs until 8:00 p.m.

Here are few things to know about parking:
🎃 Since the event takes place on the facility's front yard, the Detention Center's parking lot will be available for parking. However, spaces are limited.
🎃 To better accommodate guests, parking will also be available at Kenton County Parks & Recreation's Pioneer Park on Madison Pike, with FREE shuttles to transport you to the Detention Center. It's a very short trip to and from the facility.

We cannot wait to see you there and officially kickstart SPOOKY season.

IT'S HERE: Have you seen the distinctive-looking spotted lanternfly? The invasive planthopper -- first reported in the U.S. in 2014 and moving steadily across the nation – has been found at two locations in Covington. Forestry folks from the City and the Kenton County Cooperative Extension Service are trying to find out more in an effort to control the invasion.
