As we observe Patriot Day, we pause to reflect upon the tragedy and loss suffered September 11, 2001. Today we take a moment to honor and remember the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the courage that united our country. The strength, resilience, and unity shown on that day continue to inspire our community and shape who we are. May we NEVER FORGET.

Today, Newton County Schools joins our nation in observing Patriot Day and remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor the nearly 3,000 lives taken that day, the courage of the first responders who rushed toward danger, and the countless acts of bravery, service, and compassion that followed.

We also remember the families whose lives were forever changed and honor the men and women who have served our nation in the years since.

May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the spirit of unity that brought our nation together.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

We’re seeing positive improvement across multiple CTAE categories aligned with our Framework for Advancing Workforce Development!

Whether it’s End-of-Pathway Assessment performance, Dual Enrollment participation, pathway completion or Work-Based Learning enrollment, each of these key measures has improved in just one year.

This progress reflects our district’s targeted efforts to expand opportunities and ensure students graduate with the academic preparation, employability skills, real-world experiences and credentials they need to make informed choices about their futures and successfully pursue college, career or the workforce.

The numbers are moving in the right direction—and, most importantly, they represent more opportunities and stronger outcomes for our students.

That’s IMPACT!
