As we celebrate 200 years of public education in Covington throughout this school year, we will post a picture each week to remember our past.

The Class of 1954 senior football players were tough and mighty, but they were no match for the Class of 2026. Join us tonight, October 30, as the Bulldogs celebrate Senior Night vs. Scott High School. Senior festivities begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the game at 7.

Please note that this game is scheduled for Thursday instead of Friday this week.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate Lights On Afterschool, a nationwide event that highlights the incredible impact of afterschool programs across the country.

With seven after-school and summer program sites throughout the district, we're creating safe, supportive, and engaging spaces where students can learn, grow, and thrive beyond the school day.

Just last year, over 1,600 Covington students participated in our out-of-school time programs, gaining new skills, exploring their interests, and building connections that last.

We appreciate our amazing staff, partners, families, and community members who help keep the lights on and the opportunities shining. We know that when after-school is strong, our students shine even brighter!
