Later, we also talked about things that are happening in Coventry, including a bond award that Coventry has received for a water tower project and coming events later this fall.

Want to know more about the health of Coventry's Lake Wangumbaug? Attend the Annual State of the Lake Forum: September 22, 2026 7 PM at Mill Brook Place. GZA GeoEnvironmental will discuss the health of the lake, and the CT DEEP Boating Division will discuss how boat launch monitors are helping to prevent the spread of invasive species and keep boaters safe.

School has begun, September is upon us, and the warm days of summer will soon be fading away.  Please remember to slow down in school zones and to watch out for all the school children at bus stops.  Many activities in Coventry will soon be lining up as we slide into the early days of autumn.

On this morning's interview with Wayne Norman of Good Company WILI 1400 & 95.3, Town Manager James Drumm brought his son Kiernan along to talk about his Eagle Scout project with Troop 65 to construct a pavilion near a neighborhood playground in Coventry. In a second episode airing later this morning, we talked about various Coventry projects including the Bunker Hill Road Bridge Replacement project and progress toward proposed revisions to the Town Charter.
