Investing in Our Schools. Investing in Our Students.
Thanks to the community-approved $25 million 2023 school construction bond, combined with a number of state grants, Coventry Public Schools has made significant investments in our school facilities over the past two years.
We are proud of the progress already made, and there is much more to come!
🐘 Coventry High School
• Auditorium updates, including seating, flooring, painting, and stage work
• Major gymnasium renovation
• Complete renovation of 14 science classrooms
• Fire suppression sprinkler upgrades
• New wastewater system
• HVAC replacement
• 2026–2027: Planned auditorium lighting and sound upgrades
🏫 Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School
• Paving improvements
• Partial roof replacement
• HVAC replacement
🏫 Hopkins Hill Elementary School
• Asbestos abatement
• Partial floor replacement
• Fire panel replacement
• Paving and blacktop improvements
🏫 Tiogue Elementary School
• Fire panel replacement
🏫 Western Coventry Elementary School
• Domestic drinking well replacement
And we're not done.
Over the next two years, additional projects are planned across the district, with every Coventry school receiving facility improvements.
These investments represent more than new roofs, floors, HVAC systems, and renovated spaces. They are an investment in creating safe, healthy, modern, and supportive learning environments for Coventry students and staff.
