The playground at Giblin Recreation Area on Hunters Crossing Drive is installed and ready for play! The surrounding area still has more landscaping to be done and the Town will continue to work on that over the next couple of weeks.While the playground equipment was professionally installed by a certified installer, the maintenance workers in the Parks and Recreation Department performed all of the site work. They will continue to beauty that space and their work allowed more funds to be allocated to play equipment for ages 2- 12 years old.

🎉 Highlighting another one of our amazing RI 250 Parade attendees — Keeping Kids Fishing! 🎣🐟

Founded by John Graichen, Keeping Kids Fishing is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to getting youth outdoors and introducing them to the lifelong sport of fishing.

Since its founding, Keeping Kids Fishing has donated an incredible 3,908 fishing poles complete with tackle to local youth and provides FREE fishing classes at Tiogue Lake (Arnold Road) from 9 AM to 1 PM, beginning the second weekend in April through mid-October.

We are just 3 weeks away from our 4th Annual Summer Festival at Coventry High School (40 Reservoir Road) on June 20 (rain date: June 21)!🥳 Live Music, Food Trucks, Kids' Zone, RI Summer of Soccer demonstrations, fireworks and more!

Today, we're excited to highlight our Kids' Zone—packed with FREE family fun for your little ones! 🐝🎈

We're thrilled to be partnering with Busy Bee Jumpers Rhode, who will be bringing their amazing inflatables and attractions to the festival. From bounce houses and obstacle courses to water slides, interactive games, tent packages, and more, Busy Bee Jumpers is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for families and communities across Rhode Island.
