Workforce Connect Tuesdays is a local workforce service offered in Red River Parish to help residents access employment and training support without having to travel farther than necessary.

A Workforce Specialist will be available at Red River Parish Library to assist with:
* Resume assistance
* Job search support
* Training information
* WIOA program guidance
* Referrals to American Job Center services

When: Every third Tuesday of the month
Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Where: Red River Parish Library, 410 East Carroll St., Coushatta, LA

Walk-ins are welcome.

To my friends and patrons of the Red River Parish Library. It is with a great sense of pride, accomplishment, and of course sadness I must announce my retirement as director. In the past 30 years I have had the privilege of serving you as librarian, we have accomplished much together, including the construction of a wonderful library facility that will continue to serve the public years into the future. We had plans to construct a historical center to focus on the rich history of Red River Parish and in the future perhaps that can yet become a reality

I know the library will continue to provide quality informational services to the community you have come to expect, as well as children's and adult programming including our summer story time, Bingo and Genealogy. A lot of exciting things are planned for the future.

At this point I start a new chapter in my life but will never forget the many friends and wonderful memories I have made in my years at Red River Library. I was blessed to work with the best staff and library board anyone could possibly hope for. Truly they are a second family in every sense of the word. To my library family and the many friends I have made in the parish it is my hope you will keep in contact with me as time goes by. God's richest blessings on you all.

It's almost time! Our Summer Reading Program is kicking off on June 29th! Come by and pick up our brochure of events, registration forms and reading logs for your children and help them "Plant a Seed, READ!"
