Friday, we the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office Family, had a wonderful day as we had much fun picking up trash on Ivor Road from Courtland to Trinity Church Road. As you can see we picked up lots of trash but anytime we come together for a good cause we have fun.

As always I love the great staff as they support the vision that I have in helping keep our citizens safe and our community clean.

Just as a friendly reminder, in Virginia, under Virginia Code 33.2-802, littering is classified as misdemeanor punishable by fines ranging from $500 to $2,500, and up to 12 months in jail. To not come to this, please help my staff and I keep our streets clean throughout our beautiful county were we call home, Southampton County
