We’ve been going back through old Picnic in the Park photos while getting ready for the 50th this year.✨

We’re excited to officially reveal the crowns for the 1st Annual Miss Courtland Pageant at the 50th Annual Picnic in the Park!

Divisions for ages 0–18, and the best part — every participant receives a sash and tiara, so no one leaves empty handed.

Were you a Miss Cotton Queen? 👑

As we celebrate the 50th Annual Picnic in the Park, we would love to invite former Miss Cotton titleholders to return to the Square and help judge or crown contestants in the Miss Courtland Pageant.

👑 ✨A tradition returns just with a new name.✨👑

Many of you may remember the former Miss Cotton Pageant that was once part of Picnic in the Park. This year, as we celebrate 50 years of this beloved event, we’re proud to reintroduce this tradition as the Miss Courtland Pageant.

On Saturday, June 6, ages 0–18 will take the stage in front of the Square as we celebrate confidence, character, and community — the heart of Courtland.

While the name has changed, the spirit remains the same. 💚

Join us as we crown Miss Courtland 2026 and continue a hometown tradition.

Courtland… it’s time. ❤️

For 50 years, Picnic in the Park has brought this town together. Music on the Square, lawn chairs lined up, neighbors catching up like no time passed at all.

This year, we celebrate that legacy and honor those who have carried this tradition through the years.
